View From The Top: Studies in the Life of Joseph by Wallace Tinsley, Jr.
(Led by Gail Rowan)
During this 12-week study we'll join Joseph to learn about how God was orchestrating the events of his life. He praised and trusted the Lord in good times and very difficult times. We'll study some of the Bible's great stories about forgiveness, redemption, provision and loving care. Joseph's responses to God are a clear example of faith. The Lord acts mightily, even through trials, to bring about His purposes to shape us while shaping history. We can think that He has forgotten us because our circumstances don't change, even over many years. Every event of Joseph's life was taking him to the point of literally saving a nation, and getting Joseph's family where they needed to be at the right time. The same God woven thread of history flows through our own lives. This family story gives hope for all generations to come. These truths are true for us, too. Joseph's story is a reminder for us to transfer trust from self to God for our encouragement and hope.

Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl by Lysa TerKeurst
(Led by Jamie Irwin & Tamara Tilton)
Do you want your life to go deeper and be a more authentic reflection of Jesus? You will stand up and say, "Jesus Is True!" But now the question has shifted to, "Does Jesus work?" It's great that He's true but what kind of difference can He make in my life? We will tackle some of these questions in our 8- week book study...Will Jesus make a difference in my heart? Will He help my connection with God be more real? What kind of difference could He make in my relationships? How do I process my struggles with Jesus? What do I do when my thoughts pull me away from Jesus? Does Jesus really have a calling for my life?
Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in Room 104 Jude - Precept Study by Kay Arthur (Led by LeAnn Morton)
How much do you value God’s Word, the fellowship of the church, and obedience to Jesus Christ? These are some of the questions that we will be looking at in this in-depth Bible study on Wednesdays. This short book will show us how to build up our faith through prayer, keeping close to Christ, helping others and hating sin. This ten week study will require approximately 2 hours of homework weekly.
Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Youth Room
Spiritually Single (Led by Gail Rowan & Heather Spinazzola)
What do you do when the husband you share your life with doesn't share your faith or has given up on Christianity? Somehow you find yourself alone in a congregation full of people. You may feel the full weight of raising godly children. You feel discord in decision making, having friends together, or not completely “fitting in”. Although you love your husband, you yearn for his salvation. You want to share your spiritual side with him. You wish he would socialize with the other church families. You're growing spiritually but he tends to block your spiritual excitement. If you've felt spiritually single, we invite you to join us for encouragement, support, and a place to find togetherness. This study will be 50% prayerful support and 50% “Bible digging”.
Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:15 p.m. at Carole Hoch’s Home (No Childcare)
Sermon on the Mount by John Stott (Led by Carole Hoch)
This is a 12 week study, but we might take longer. The Sermon on the Mount is the most famous sermon that Jesus preached. Jesus’ words challenge us to build godly character traits and to seek first the kingdom of God in relationships, values, ambitions, finances and to be fully committed to God. Space is limited (3 or 4 more ladies).
Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in Room 201
Help My Unbelief – A Study of the Life of Joseph (Led by Serena Reyle)
***Beginning September 7th – meeting the same weeks as Christian Service Brigade and Pioneer Girls.
If you’re dropping off your children for Wednesday evening ministries or you’re just looking for an evening study, come join in for a time of looking at the life of Joseph and prayer for each other. “He is not a tame lion – but He is good” – sometimes it’s hard to believe and harder still to live like it. No preparation and the only book you need is your Bible.
